Cole Williams is the new sound of Funk/Soul; trained in classical piano and voice since the age of 4, Cole has been making music all of her life. She starting singing in the church choir but yearned for more musically fulfilling opportunities utilizing her passion for the musical arts.
Within the last ten years, Cole has toured the world as a professional singer, songwriter, producer and vocal instructor. Cole's music is driven by a love deep within that has lead her to perform at the legendary Carnegie Hall at age 10 as well as performing backing vocals with artists Somi, Kaissa, Imani Coppola, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam, Little Jackie and Maya Azucena to name a few. She was also nominated for a Swedish Grammy.
In the past few years, you may have heard Cole's voice amongst the visual airwaves via "C'mon Y'all" for Suave Professionals, Kourtney and Kloe Take Miami (Episode 1) and The Hills (Episode 10). As a backing vocalist with the soul pop duo Little Jackie, Cole has appeared on The Conan O’Brian Show, The Craig Ferguson Show, 90210, The Jools Holland Show (U.K.) and The Edge w/Jake.
In addition to her live performances and recordings, Cole has worked with many producers, production companies, jingle houses, writers and artists nationally and internationally renowned. Currently, while managing her solo career between performances around NYC (most recently Santos Party House, Le Poisson Rouge and Public Assembly) with her band That'sMyCole, she is working on multiple projects as a writer/vocal coach and producer.
Cole's experience working in a variety of genres has heavily influenced her songwriting and production on her personal project, which remain true to the beginnings of The Blues fused with a Funky Soul-Rock'ing Jazz that will leave you spellbound, and most notably knowing that this lady can sang!
