When he's not working with popular artists like Chris Botti, Richard Bona, Mike Clark,Jeff "Tain" Watts, Mike Mainieri, Toni Braxton, Phoebe Snow, Harry Belafonte, Gavin Degraw, guitar phenom Oz Noy can be found tearing it up with his group, The Oz Noy Trio.

By the age of 16, he was already playing with leading Israeli musicians and performers, and by age 24 he was one of the best-known studio guitar players in the country, playing on numerous records. He was also a member of the house band of Israel's the top-rated television show for more than two years.

Since his arrival in New York in 1996, he has made a big splash on the local music scene with his unique sound, compositions and style, which bring together a mixture of pop, rock, blues, funk, and jazz, into a cohesive and intoxicating groove.

In 2003, Oz released his first record, "Oz Live," recorded at NYC's legendary Bitter End. Backing Oz on the CD were drummers Anton Fig and Keith Carlock and bassists Will Lee, James Genus and Reggie Washington. Oz continues to play regualar Monday night gigs at The Bitter End with his power trio.

He's also played in many commercials and movie soundtracks including "Auto Focus," "Undefeated" (HBO) with Angelo Badeomenti, and Queer as Folk (HBO). He is also featured on Anton Fig's and Richard Bona's latest albums.

The list of producers with whom he has worked includes Nile Rogers,Kevin Shirley, David Huff, Gary Lyons, Bruce Buchannon, Vincent Herbert and Gary Hass, to name afew.

Oz has recently been signed to Magna Carta Records and has completed a studio record for that label which will be released at 2005. Featured on the record are Anton Fig, Keith Carlock, Mike Stern, Will Lee, James Genus and George Whitty.
