Introducing Eddie Cole

Eddie Cole, the Long Beach-based singer, songwriter, and producer, has moved with the inertia and traveled light years in his career to get to where he is now.

Cole’s multi-instrumental talent has lent him many opportunities to work with as well as perform and tour with the likes of Nas, Mapei, and Alina Baraz and Galimatias. In addition to working as a touring musician, Cole also had the opportunity to compose and perform for the worldwide theatrical magic show The Illusionists.

With family as a major influence on his work, Cole has followed in the footsteps of his family’s musical legacy that includes: his great-uncle and legendary jazz singer and pianist Nat King Cole. “I admire his natural, organic, but extremely polished presentation,” says Cole. “The balancing act of honestly expressing yourself and putting on a great show are the signs of greatness to me. To share his blood is a gift I have and always will cherish... I didn't have a choice.”; his father Eddie Cole Sr., who has worked with the likes of Ray Charles, Chaka Khan, and Natalie Cole; and his mother, Laura Cole, an opera singer, multi-instrumentalist, and music teacher.

With all of these experiences and influences shaping his work, Cole learned how to produce music and with that knowledge, began writing, recording, and performing his own music.

The Inertia LP, Eddie’s follow up to his debut release Godspeed EP on Dank Radio, is available on most online music retailers and streaming services including iTunes and Spotify.
