Josh Myers is proud to offer his open ears and big earthy bass tone to various incredible projects, including Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Heather Christian & The Arbornauts, and Kinan Azmeh's CityBand. As a bandleader, he has been the driving force behind BIG WORDS and the Josh Myers Quintet, and has self-produced and released acclaimed records with both projects. Of his composition, Mark F. Turner of All About Jazz wrote: "The fundamentals of composition and improvisation are balanced with fresh ideas that are creative and thought provoking." He is equally at home in the worlds of jazz, rock, soul, funk, and various other genres. He has had the pleasure of performing in legendary venues such as the Fillmore, Lincoln Center, The Royal Opera House in Muscat Oman, Carnegie Hall, and The Library of Congress, alongside such greats as John Scofield, Kenny Werner, Ralph Alessi, Wayne Krantz and Bernard Purdie.

As a percussionist, drummer, and composer, John Hadfield has a dedication to music that has taken him from his native Missouri to concert halls and clubs across the world. John currently leads two ensembles: his Trio of Myths performs his compositions in an intimate trio setting, and the Saints of Percussion is a percussion-based composer collective dedicated to improvised music. John’s ability to cross genres has allowed him to appear with a broad range of ensembles and artists, including Yo-Yo Ma and his Silk Road Ensemble, Kinan Azmeh’s City Band, Petros Klampanis’ Contextual, Nguyen Le’s STREAMS Quartet, The Saturday Night Live Band on NBC, Deep Purple, and more. He has collaborated on more than 90 recordings as a guest artist, including GRAMMY award winner Yo-Yo Ma's Songs of Joy and Peace.
