The present fight and cry of Soul-Reggae band, Josh David & Judah Tribe representing the "dispersed of Judah", can be heard and felt in their diverse approach to roots & culture. With members representing the USA, Haiti, Ecuador, & more, each brings their own unique story in this fight for Peace, Livity, Equal Rights, & Justice. Led by singer/songwriters, Josh David, (bassist of Q-Tip, Tomas Doncker Band, Joy Denalane, Rene Neufville, Soul Cycle), and Eric "The General Toussaint (Junior Reid, Riddim Nation, Ossie Delimore), the revolutionary sounds of Judah Tribe has been heard in New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Brooklyn Academy of Music, the United Nations, and other arenas as a champion for the call to justice against police brutality for Sean Bell & many others with their tune, "Judgment". Also, at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade Theater singing the world disaster prayer/chant "Help Us JAH".
Judah Tribe is presently promoting their debut album, "Nu Day Dawnin", which is now available on Cdbaby & I-Tunes. Recent works include live concerts where Judah Tribe opened for such legends as, The Wailers, Steel Pulse, Turbulence, to name a few. Other recent collaborations include Ethiopian-native, Shéba("Love This Lifetime"), Jamaican Artists, Pashon Minott(Daughter of Sugar Minott), Biggz General & Alex Marley(of The Marley Family), Jesse Royal, & Dax Lion; as well as with Hip-Hop/R&B veterans Rene Neufville, Toni Blackman, and Smif & Wessun with new shows and new works coming soon!
