Rebel Tumbao feat. Toussaint "The Liberator" Yeshua & Herman Olivera

REBEL TUMBAO is a family of like-minded musicians deeply committed to performing music packed with groove, spirituality and energy- a homegrown sound they call “AfroLatinRootsReggae”. The band was co-founded by world-renowned percussionist and composer, José Claussell, & pianist, composer and educator Matt Jenson.

The powerhouse eleven-piece ensemble perform an uncompromising fusion of two of the most celebrated musical genres on the planet; Roots Reggae and contemporary Cuban Son - with deep influences of soul, gospel, blues, jazz and African folkloric idioms. Both original compositions and innovative new arrangements of Marley songs are featured, ably put across by the soul awakening vocals of Toussaint Yeshua.
