*Intimate screening of Dexter Gordonís iconic film to commemorate anniversary of legendary musicianís 90th birthday*

The Blue Note Jazz Festival is pleased to present a special screening of legendary jazz musician Dexter Gordonís iconic film, ROUND MIDNIGHT, at IFC Center in New York City on June 24th. The screening marks the anniversary year of what would be Gordonís 90th birthday, and will celebrate the music, life and legacy of the world-renowned artist.

Following the screening, the Blue Note Jazz Festival will host a 45 minute panel discussion, moderated by American music/jazz historian, journalist and producer ASHLEY KAHN. The panel will also include Dexter Gordonís wife, MAXINE GORDON, former President/CEO of Blue Note Records, BRUCE LUNDVALL, writer and founder of Mosaic Records, MICHAEL CUSCUNA, legendary saxophonist JIMMY HEATH, and former Blue Note recording artist GREG OSBY.
