Duke Ellington (born APRIL 29,1899 and Billy Strayhorn November 29, 1915) were musical partners for many years. To commemorate this great collaboration and the birthday of Mr. Ellington The Juilliard Jazz Ensemble will perform a number of the compositions created by these 2 musical geniuses.
