Vocal powerhouse Gio Moretti marks the release of Meeting Point and Animacustica, two CDs co-produced with hitmaker Steve Addabbo (of Suzanna Vega & Shawn Colvin fame). Her new CDs showcases Moretti's passionate vocal style and notable performances by Ivan Lins, Mike Stern, Toninho Horta, Hernan Romero and Groove Collective’s Jay Rodriguez.

Gio performs straightforward, moving songs of life and love that are reminiscent of the early works of Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Tracy Chapman. Moretti, the Milan-born former lead vocalist with Brazil’s Batacoto explain, “When you add the rhythmic energy of Brazil and American funk into the mix, then you have an explosive mix of music with far reaching possibilities.”
