Billy Drewes has been creating music, composing, performing and recording since the mid 1970's. His main instruments include soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, clarinets, flutes, drums, percussion and piano. Featured on over 150 CDs, with performance credits worldwide, he continually searches out new avenues for creative expression. He has worked with Joe Lovano, Bill Frisell, Paul Motian, Toninho Horta, Tony Bennett, The Boston Symphony and Gary Burton, Joe Lovano, John Scofield, Lionel Hampton, Eddie Palmieri, Woody Herman, Lyle Mays, the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Orchestra, Herbie Hancock, Bill Frisell, Eddie Gomez, Randy Brecker, John Abercrombie, Fred Hersch and Peter Erskine.
Kenny Werner is a world-class pianist and composer. A Guggenheim Fellowship Award winner, he has performed extensively with his own groups, the Mel Lewis Orchestra, legendary harmonica player Toots Thielemans, Broadway legend Betty Buckley, and sax superstar Joe Lovano. In 2007, Kenny Werner released his first album for Blue Note Records. Lawn Chair Society, featuring Chris Potter, Dave Douglas, Scott Colley, and Brian Blade, received critical acclaim for its fusion of electro and acoustic elements.
