After years as a side girl, Marika invited some of her favorite NYC based musicians to join her new band and sound. The band can tip its hat to some of our greatest artists as influences; Gil-Scot Heron, Roberta Flack, Don Pullen, Charles Mingus and Cassandra Wilson, to name only a few.
