Jeremy Mage has produced music for Tummy Touch (London dance), Easy Star (Brooklyn reggae), and Double Moon (Istanbul experimental). He has apprenticed with a range of masters in piano, improvisation, and songwriting, from Alan Ginsberg and Jack Hardy in New York to Fred Frith in Oakland, Pupi Perdosa in Havana and Shrinivasan in Varanasi, India. He’s toured as a pianist/guitarist and singer with soul jazz artist Lizz Wright, Afro punk diva Tamar Kali, and Nigerian dance superhero Wunmi.

These tributaries join in the tumbling stream that descends from the Minnewaska mountains of Mage's youth; slips through the ripe gutters of New York City; freezes and thaws in broken patterns, and finally evaporates.
