The Bachslider journey begun on a Gowanus rooftop moments before the tornado touchdown in September 2010 against a sky black like our hearts.
NOISEAUX (French pronunciation: [nwazoː]) roughly translated from its French equivalent, means ‘nuts.’
On the forefront of the global Afropunk scene, this performance collective based around influential French-German artist, author and activist Noah Sow have been making a ruckus onstage with their own blend of punk, jazz, electro and chanson, breaking stereotypes about who a punk-rocker is and what they look like: conférence, electronica, badass beats, empowerment, a token guitar, rock drums gone new wave, extraterrestrial vocal performance and transitions happening on more than just a musical level.
After their tour through Europe together with the 24-7 Spyz, her musical act NOISEAUX is heading back on the road in October 2012 supporting the release of her Afro-Chanson album.
NOISEAUX is currently in the studio to complete the new album (Jeanne Dark Records; dist.: Soulfood).
