Inspired at an early age by artists like Public Enemy, Eric B. and Rakim, Grammy-nominated drummer Adam Deitch began his production career by making loops on a tape deck in his bedroom. He has gone on to produce tracks for some of today's top emcees, including 50 Cent, Redman, Talib Kweli, KRS-One, and Jurassic 5.
Deitch has done major session work on drums for artists including Justin Timberlake, Daniel Bedingfield, Anthony Hamilton, and Black Rob. He has also made recent appearances with The Game, Slick Rick, Lauryn Hill, GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, Dead Prez, the Ying Yang Twins, John Medeski, and Meshell Ndegeocello. A regular member of Wyclef Jean's band and the Average White Band, he has also recorded and toured with jazz legend John Scofield. His most recent projects include work with Nigel Hall Band, Lettuce, Break Science, and Pretty Lights.
